The MINT service centre was established in 2015 by IngCH and Swissmem. It offers schools personal advice on MINT queries and MINT projects. The goal is to pair up schools with appropriate services, develop new services and provide a bridge between business, research and academia. This results in individual MINT projects and MINT concepts designed around the school’s specific needs. And interested companies can take advantage of this support at any time as well.

Presentations and company visits

If you are looking for an exciting presentation, or would like to offer your class a tour of a company or university, the MINT service centre can help you select and organise the ideal visit.

MINT days

MINT days are a combination of presentations by students and professionals and visits to companies. Up to 200 secondary school students can take part. Previous MINT days have taken place at the cantonal school in Lee in Winterthur, Theresianum Ingenbohl in Brunnen and the Münsterplatz secondary school in Basel.

Individual programme

If you have an area you would like to explore that does not fit with the existing categories, we will be happy to help you find a solution. We can advise you on new concepts and project weeks with a selection and combination of existing services, or work with you on new ideas to enhance existing subject areas.
