Christophe Levy was born in Paris in 1962, and has a B.E. Degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics, Paris, France, since 1984. He worked for four years on landmark construction job sites in the Central African Republic, Algeria and France. He then joined Lafarge, today Holcim, in 1988 and worked in building cementitious materials research, development, and marketing, in France, India and USA. He is today the Scientific Director of the Holcim Innovation Center in Lyon, France. With about 80 granted patents, his passion is inventing and developing differentiating, sustainable and pragmatic solutions based on innovative cementitious building materials.
